Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into a sole source contract with Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems for the purchase of their BioPatch device, (product numbers)3150,3151,3152. The VA has determined that this is the only product that meets the VA needs when using a Chlorhexidine Gluconate bactericidal dressing. The solicitation will be issued on or about 9/7/2007. The VA estimates that we will use approximately 96,140 each of the BioPatch products per year. The resulting contract will be for a base year and four option years.
