- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of providing a Basic and Advanced Business Certificate Training Program for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) located in Tucson, Arizona. The services will be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and the United States Penitentiary (USP). The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year is 288 sessions, with a session equal to one hour. If additional funding is received, the estimated quantities for the four additional option years will increase accordingly. The contractor will provide credentials of affiliation with the North Central Association of High Schools and Colleges, or be a provider through the Arizona Department of Education or similar agency. The courses offered will lead to a Business Certificate. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price. The number of hours per week shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The solicitation will be available on or about August 17, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 11, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611210. This solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
