- NO.061-A28-7-0063 STATEMENT OF WORK FOR SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE This is a Request for Information (RFI) being released by the W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital Acquisition Department on behalf of the W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital Information Technology department. This RFI is issued for planning purposes and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital to acquire any products or services. At the time of any RFP, a Government contracting official shall issue it. W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital does not intend to pay for the information requested, but does consider the response to this RFI to be an indication that specific products will be offered for any subsequent RFP. All information provided is for government planning use only. If proprietary information is provided, please mark as ?Proprietary for Government Use Only? The purpose of this RFI is to request comments from telecommunications industry vendors about services and support regarding Nortel Meridian PBX systems and Nortel Call Pilot voicemail systems. The W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital would like to possess a service contract that is more aligned with the business objectives of the hospital. We believe a plan that will focus on the importance of continued business operations, while effectively taking advantage of current technology to increase productivity and quality, will improve the service of our present system. W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital?s Information Technology Staff is requesting information on ?Maintenance or Support Contracts? to enable this initiative. W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital has (1) Nortel Meridian 1 Option 61c PBX and (1) Nortel Option 11 remote cabinet that provides service to 800 users spanning multiple buildings covering less than 200,000 square feet. SPECIFICATIONS: Vendor shall: 1. Assess and identify the business objectives and recommend services a. Develop detailed plans of appropriate application of telecommunications equipment, including but, not limited, to acquisition, support, warranty and equipment disposal or trade-ins. b. Specific services include: system upgrades; enhancements and expansions; short and long term field service support and emergency field service support 24x7, including holidays; parts repair and return; new parts replenishment; remote diagnostics; technical data and manuals; training; and extended service plan(s). c. Provide service in relation to Meridian PBX and Call Pilot voicemail including, but, not limited to operator consoles, remote cabinets, capacity planning, VoIP, trunking techniques, and mobility options; such as wireless telephone systems. d. Provide service options such as equipment trade-in, user training, and planning for future developments. Interested Parties: a. The Government reserves the right to adjust this plan based upon programmatic and operational needs. b.
