This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 08/21/07, with the Response date on or around 09/20/07. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Approved sources: TECHNICAL WIRE PRODUCTS, LLC (07700)P/N 65-00029F; PARKER HANNIFIN CORPORATION (18565) P/N 19-99-A123-1000; RAYTHEON TECHNICAL SERVICES(3B150) P/N 11460737. This will be a large firm-fixed price contract with a 100% option qty. Unrestricted, Other than full and open competition applies; FOB; Inspection/Acceptance shall be destination, Various incremental quantities will be solicited from 5,000 to 69,522.00. The basic quantity will be for approximately 34,761 each. All 34,761 pieces will be shipped to New Cumberland, PA. 17070-5001; FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. The offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. This is for solicitation purposes only and does not apply for award. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
