- Description
- The USDA Forest Service is soliciting prospective contractors for an IDIQ Performance Based Contract for Wildlife Projects in Arkansas for the districts of St. Francis (Marion, AR), Sylamore (Mt View, AR), and the Bayou Ranger (Hector, AR). Project work consists of: WSI and Hazard Fuel Treatments, manual felling, WSI and Hazard Fuel Treatments (marked), Cedar Removal, Wildlife Opening Construction, Brush Hogging, Fire-Line/Linear-Strip Construction, Fire-line construction, plant openings, understory removal, warm-season grass planting, pond construction, foliar spray for noxious weeds, and boom spray. The contract issued as a result of this solicitation will be a firm-fixed Indefinite Quantity, indefinite Delivery (IDIQ), performance based service contract. The period for issuance of task orders for the base year will be on or before August 1, 2007 December 31, 2007 with four one-year option periods, total duration not to exceed December 31, 2011. The NAICS code for this procurement is 115310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is May 31, 2007. Contract will be awarded to the offeror presenting the best value to the Forest Services based upon experience, past performance and price. Experience and past performance when combined will be approximately equal to price. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available ONLY at this internet site. Solicitations will not be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service. Your firm must be registered through CCR in order to be eligible for evaluation of your proposal. Proposals are due June 22, 2007 by 4:30 CDT.
