- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Contracting and General Services will be requesting proposals on solicitation number 201817R017 to furnish all materials and labor efforts to construct one concrete masonry building ( Approx. 1,545 SF), including site preparation, gravel parking, concrete foundation, metal roofs, interior gypsum board walls and partitions, plumbing fixtures, mechanical, electrical, and connection to existing utilities. Location at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Anahuac, Texas, southwest of the junction F.M. 1985 and Highway 124, in Chambers County, Texas. The estimated construction price magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance is expected to be 210 calendar days. A Request for Proposal will be issued under Price and Performance Trade Off Procedures. Past Performance will be evaluated and award to the contractor considered to be to the best value to the government. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220. The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. Both small and large businesses are invited to submit proposals when requested. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on or about May 7, 2007. Copies of the Request for Proposals will be obtained at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The complete solicitation will include price schedule and attachments ( specifications, drawings and Past Performance Questionaire).
