- The 56th Contracting Squadron, Luke AFB, AZ, intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with SDS International Inc. 1320 Central Park Blvd STE 300 Fredericksburg, VA 22401, for the purchase of a Remotely Operated Vehicle Adaptable Training Systems (ROVATS). SDS International Inc. is the manufacturer of this proprietary software simulator, which all collaboration partners of the functional team must have to perform their duties. The government intends to acquire commercial items using FAR Part 12. The procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 333319 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. No formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Funds are not currently available and may not become available for this requirement.
