- The VA Montana Healthcare System (ECHCS) Medical Center, located at 1892 Williams Street, Fort Harrison, Montana intends to negotiate a sole source design build contract with Diamond Construction, Inc., 2905 North Montana Avenue, Suite 200, Helena, MT 59601 under the authority of Public Law 109-461, which allows the Department of Veterans affairs to sole source contracts to veteran owned small businesses if the anticipated contract value is less than $5,000,000. The estimated project range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The contractor will furnish all necessary design and construction services needed to design, develop construction specifications, produce drawings, and to construct two exterior stair cover structures, a 6 foot-wide concrete wheelchair ramp from parking lot K to the outpatient entrance, galvanized chain link fence sections, and to install slope protection on adjacent steep embankments on both sides of the eastern most exterior stair, north of the new outpatient entrance, at VA Montana Healthcare System, Fort Harrison complex, located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636 Project work includes all site work, landscaping, walks, handrails, grading, fencing, and lighted stair enclosure structures with windows. The Small Business Size Standard under NAICS Code 236220 is $31.0 million. NO HARD COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
