- Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital (JAHVH) located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (especially SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES and VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES) capable and interested in providing all supplies, parts, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management and transportation to furnish emergency and routine printer repair/maintenance service for defined Hewlett-Packard network printers and Lexmark printers and a Toner Service based on a Price Per Page, at the VA Medical Center (VAMC) Orlando, 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, Florida 32803, to include the DFAS Building the VAMC Orlando's supported Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Numerous models of laser printers are involved (estimated 60 +) - some of these include, but are not limited to: Hewlett Packard LJ1100, 1200, 2100, 2200, 2420, 4+, 4050, 4100, 4200, 4250, 4250, 4L, P3005, Lexmark T630, T632, Dell P1500, W5300, Brother dcp-7020, Brother FAX. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall provide Manufacturer Certified Technicians to perform the work that can respond on-site within one (1) hour for emergency repairs. The anticipated performance period is October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with 4 optional years. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811212 and the size standard is $23.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is August 20, 2007. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. August 10, 2007.
