- Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (especially SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES and VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES) capable and interested in providing preventive maintenance and repair services for Sterrad 100 Sterilizer located at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall furnish complete Sterrad 100 Sterilizer Maintenance Services, which includes all parts, labor, travel and unlimited service calls to maintain equipment so that equipment meets or exceeds the manufacturer's original performance specifications. The anticipated performance period is October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with 4 optional years.. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the size standard is $6.5 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is August 20, 2007. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. August 10, 2007.
