- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ_11301-0006-7, for the provision of various subsistence dairy products for the Federal Correctional Institution in Morgantown, West Virginia. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall commence on October 1, 2007 and expire on September 30, 2008. Estimated yearly contract requirements include: (1) 20,000 Gallon Bulk, Fresh 2% milk, Kosher; (2) 14,300 Gallon, Bulk, fresh skim milk, Kosher; (3) 29,600 half pint cartoons of fresh 2% milk, Kosher; (4) 4,760 lb sour cream, Kosher; (5) 5,440 lb Cottage Cheese, Kosher; (6) 840 CS, 6oz or 8oz containers, fruit Yogurt, Kosher. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 10, 2007, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 30, 2007. The anticipated date of award is September 17, 2007 with an effective award date is October 1, 2007.
