- Streambank Stabilization-Ashfield, MA Statement of Work The proposed work is to protect a private residence in Ashfield, MA by installing approximately 200 linear feet of rock riprap (D50 of 13 inches and maximum size of 24 inches) along an eroding streambank. The major items of work includes installing the rock riprap along the toe and on the slope, protecting the work from the flows of the South River during construction, installing a stone lined waterway, installing a perforated drainage pipe across the slope, earth fill, and slope shaping. The period of performance is estimated to be 44 days. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAIC code is 237990 with a small business standard of $31 million dollars. This is total small business set aside. A solicitation with drawings and specifications will be posted to this website on or about August 17, 2007. Quotes are due by 12:00 pm on September 7, 2007. There will be no public opening. There will be a site showing on August 30, 2007 at 10:00 am. The meeting place will be at the Conway Town Offices located at 32 Main St, Conway, MA.
