- THIS IS A DRAFT RFP. The Government?s intent is to award a competitive IDIQ contract ranging from $75,000,000 - $100,000,000. This IDIQ contract will be for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA. The purpose of this DRAFT RFP is to identify interested industry partners and answer questions regarding this DRAFT RFP. The Government anticipates issuing the final RFP as a combined Synopsis/Solicitation within 2 weeks of the closing date of this DRAFT RFP. The combined Synopsis/Solicitation will be a separate action. The intended scope of this open-market IDIQ vehicle is to provide a broad framework for all of the necessary Information Technology services and tools that will enable the CDC to improve BioSense performance, increase collaboration, identify duplicative activities and gaps, eliminate redundancies, and reduce costs across the Enterprise Architecture portfolio. CDC seeks to improve utilization of source information in order to focus on and improve the agency mission while enhancing cost savings and cost avoidance through cross-agency and inter-government collaboration. The contractor shall increase operational efficiencies and optimize business processes while providing flexible access to information across platforms and languages which may be complex and resource intensive. BioSense architecture simplifies these processes through standard protocols which allow CDC to receive information and offer services to a wide variety of health care partners. Under this IDIQ contract, the contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of applications development, data quality, program/project management and oversight, data security, data provisioning, data warehousing, recruiting of data sources, and interfacing with the host service provider.
