- The Government is seeking HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran companies having the ability to provide unarmed guard services for the Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians (OST). Services to be provided at the American Indians Records Repository in Lenexa, KS and the OST headquarters located in Albuquerque, NM. The requirement for Lenexa shall be for 1 unarmed guard for 10 hours per day with weekends and Federal holidays off. In addition, the contract shall provide for 1 supervisor/project manager to be available 24 hours per day for routine contract issues and emergency situations. The requirement for Albuquerque shall be for 3 unarmed guards between the hours of 6am-6pm and 2 unarmed guards between the hours of 6pm-6am and holidays and weekends. In addition, the contract shall provide for 1 supervisor/project manager to be available 24 hours per day for routine contract issues and emergency situations. Qualified HUBZone and SDV businesses must submit information relating to their business status as well as a narrative addressing their capabilities to include a minimum of 3 references. To be considered qualified, contractors must address their ability to provide the required services at either one or both locations to include past performance providing the same type of services over the past 3-5 years. The Government is open to the option of awarding one contract for both locations or two separate contracts. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561612. A firm is considered small if its size standard does not exceed $11.5 million. The determination to set this procurement aside for HUBZone/ SDV or small business will be made based on responses received.
