- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting & General Services Office in Portland, OR have a requirement at the Klamath Basin NWR Complex, 4009 Hill Road, Tulelake, CA 96134 to procure a new Belly Dump Trailer. Selection process is "Best Value" - in addition to price, the USFWS is considering following factors: Past Performance; Special features of the supply required for effective program performance; Probable life of the item selected as compared with that of a comparable item; Warranty considerations; Maintenance availability; Environmental and energy efficiency considerations and Delivery terms. All shipping/freight charges should be included in the pricing as f.o.b. Destination. Suggested Brand Name (Belly Dump Trailer): Manufacturer: CPS, Model (2007 or 2008) SBD-240 plus all standard package or "EQUAL." In addition to the suggested brand name, a description of the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that an "EQUAL" item must meet to be acceptable for award: Salient Factors for Belly Dump Trailer: 40' trailer; 20 cubic yard capacity; oscillating fifth wheel; air control with filter and lubricator; infinite control valve; 60 gallon air tank; window deflector; push bumper; fenders front and rear; 8" air cylinders; 25k axles; single point suspension; hub piloted wheel ends; 24.5 radial tires; 10' boards; landing gear frame mounted; rear mounted push bar; white paint.
