Description
THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS NOTICE, OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR INFROMATION SOLICITED BY IT. NAICS Classification Code is 511210. The US Army is implementing the Aircraft Data Exploitation Capability (ADEC) program that includes Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) and condition based maintenance (CBM). To support this program, the Army is interested in a graphical d isplay capability that enables the commander to understand his units posture at a glance. The US Army, AMCOM, PM Aviation Systems desires industry comments regarding potential procurement of the Flight Visualization and Analysis Software. Of particular interest, are comments about potential contractors ability to produce/design the software and overall business capabilities. Army aviation requires the capability to take multiple data inputs from disparate aviation platform systems, turn this into usable information and graphically display it to users. This requires a software and hardware system that enables quick analysis of flight data and creation of high fidelity, 3D graphical representations for after action review. It generates a time-synchronized visualization of the flight that is data driven and fully interactive. It incorporates numerous user-selectable display format s to provide a wide range of data reporting, charting and informational data. The graphical representations require routine, post-flight debriefing for aircrews, consisting of electronic visualization and event analysis of the specific mission that reflect s aggregated data by time, unit, and/or person. This replay capability will be necessary on multiple, server-based units. COTS visualization products must support National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) products, as well as military-specific anim ation models of aircraft, cockpit, runways, etc. Examples of desired display capabilities are: " Aircraft flight path oriented with ground and map display " Aircraft attitude " Cockpit instrumentation " Flight control position The PM Aviation Systems seeks information, comments, suggestions and literature/brochures from developers/providers of this type of COTS applications that would satisfy the above requirement. Any information provided shall be at no cost to the government. PROPRIETARY INFORMATION MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED . Provide all information to email Robert.Greber@peoavn.army.mil or Jim.Herberg@peoavn.army.mil.
