- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement: New Platform/Boom Truck with the following specifications: CRANE Specificati ons: Maximum crane capacity of at least 6000 lbs; Maximum platform height of at least 92 feet; Work area of 360 degrees; Telescoping boom; Self leveling and hydraulic rotated basket rated at 600 lb capacity w/remote controls in basket; Jiblet winch for basket; Out & down outriggers front & rear w/audible motion alarm; Operator controls in base; Remote throttle; 2 Speed Planetary Hoist; Anti-Two Block w/lockout; System pressure gauge; Hydraulic pump w/reservoir minimum capacity of 64 gallons; Bubble lev el; Steel single rear step bumper w/receiver; Aluminum equipment box at least 20inH 48inW 23inD; Steel cage for acetylene bottles at least 60inH 24inW 23inD; Oxygen & acetylene plumbing; 110 Volt w/duplex receptacle QD; Complete set welding leads; Compress ed air hose w/QD; Crane mounted on truck; Local Crane maintenance and service must be available; Complete set of operator and service/parts manuals. TRUCK Specifications: Diesel engine of at least 325hp; Allison automatic transmission; Front axle rated at 20,000 lbs minimum; Rear axles rated at 40,000 lbs minimum; Power steering; Cab air conditioned and heated; Complete set of operator and service/parts manuals. FOB DESTINATION: Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Payment will be made by Government credit card un der Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 12 noon, Mountain Standard Time, Tuesday, 7 August 2007. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the follo wing best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the requirement, Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance, and Price. The NAICS code is 333924. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price. All Ele ctronic and Information Technology will be Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliant. The following FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, applies to the acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercia l Items, applies to the acquisition (See evaluation criteria above). Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes with its offer. FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implementing Statutes or Executive Order s Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
