- 28---BLADE SET, TURBINE---- SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-07-R-0555, OC-ALC/LPKPB TINKER AFB OK 73145-3020. ITEM 0001 NSN: 2840-01-365-1632 P/N: 4080482. ITEM DESCRIPTION: DIMENSIONS: 4"X1.5"X.75", Material: Nichel Allow Function: Cast blade connected to 2nd stage disk, consisting of a set of 36, air directed onto blades rotates turbine. APPLICABLE TO: F100 ENGINE. QUANTITY RANGE: 4,525 TO 18,099 AND 18,100 TO 27,149 EACH. DESTINATION: TINKER AFB, OK. DELIVERY: 1084 EACH PER MONTH STARTING 30 JUNE 2008. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.? Complete data to manufacture this part is not available. This part requires manufacturing and processing acceptance data that is separate from the blueprint and not owned by the Government. This data is required by the manufacturing source to ensure part reliability. This part must be supplied by Pratt & Whitney to retain unique design capability, engineering skills and manufacturing knowledge that is not known to the Government.? Missing data is not available and is not economically obtainable.? A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. ?Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 30 Aug 07. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 30 Sep 07. The solicitation will be available for download on the release date from www.fedbizops.gov. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office.
