- DESCRIPTION: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with SIRSI CORPORATION, 101 Washington Street, SE, Huntsville, AL 35801, under the authority of FAR Subsection 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source for renewal of existing SIRSI licenses. SIRSI CORPORATION is the sole proprietor of the software and the sole source for the software annual license and maintenance renewal. The performance period for renewal from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
