- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), unrestricted setaside contract for the purchase of Variable Filter Wheels in support of the 46 Test Wing at Eglin. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F1T0EB7199AG05. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333314, with a small business size standard of 500. Please identify/confirm your business size in your response based upon this standard. This purchase request shall meet the following requirements: CLIN 0001: (2 EACH) VARIABLE FILTER WHEEL, CUSTOM CIRCULAR. SUBSTRATE MATERIAL: ALON. SIZE 6.0 INCHES OD X 0.500 INCHES ID X 2 MM THICK. SCRATCH DIG: 60-40. TRANSMITTED WAVEFRONT: 1/4 WAVE AT 632 OVER CENTER 2 INCH CIRCLE. COATING: INCONEL 0.4 DENSITY IN 270 ANGULAR DEGREES, NEXT 45 DEGREES AS DARK AS POSSIBLE, FOLLOWING 45 DEGREES CLEAR FOR 1-6 MICRON RANGE. AR COATING ON BOTH SIDES. P/N: ALON-CVND OR EQUAL Delivery is FOB Destination.
