- Description
- NASA/JSC has a requirement for 12-month maintenance contracts for Active-HDL products that include technical support, new product revisions, and third-party software upgrades. The following products that require maintenance are: (1) Three (3) licenses of Active-HDL Plus edition (MAPE-VHDL); One (1) license of Active-HDL edition (MAPE-VLOG-F); One (1) license of Active-HDL with Synplify Plus edition (MAS-PE-VHDL-F; and one (1) license of HDL Analyst Option for Active-HDL with Synplify (MAS-SHAF). NASA/JSC intends to purchase these licenses and support from Aldec, Inc., Henderson, NV, as the sole owner of the software. Aldec is a small business. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 p.m. local time on the date listed above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
