Description
***PLEASE NOTE: There are currently two (2) amendments for this solicitation available on www.fedteds.gov. These amendments are in addition to minutes from the Pre-proposal conference held on July 23, 2007.*** The following is a list of clarifications to the RFP: Q. For pricing purposes, is there a drawing count available, at various review levels, by drawing type, for either the Detroit or Indianapolis Lease Construction Project? A. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any information regarding those projects as the design is still in an early stage. Q. For pricing purposes, where will the design review meetings be held? A. The design review meetings may take place in Chicago, Washington, D.C., or the project architect's office. Q. In Section C.13 of the RFP, it states there will be 7-8 drawing reviews and 5-6 construction drawing reviews. Does this apply to each project or both? A. There will be 7-8 drawing reviews and 5-6 construction drawing reviews for each project location. Q. What is the expected level of effort regarding LEED certification? What rating does GSA expect to attain? A. The expected level of effort regarding LEED certification requires that you operate in a monitoring capacity to ensure the Development Team is moving in a direction of achieving LEED certification. The project must meet the requirements of LEED-NC certified level (minimum). Q. In Section C.13 of the RFP, Evaluation of technical proposals, what is the anticipated number of short-listed offerors in the Lease Construction procurement? A. The selected CM firm will evaluate technical proposals from a minimum of three (3) and no more than five (5) short-listed offerors. Q. Section C.11 of the RFP states, "The RFP requires that all offerors submit a completed FD-816 (Background Data Information Form) and FD-484 (Privacy Act) for all Key Personnel relative to their technical proposals.". Where can these forms be obtained? A. Each of these forms must be submitted with technical proposals and have been uploaded to www.fedteds.gov. If there are any additional questions, please contact Abdulrahman Habeeb at abdulrahman.habeeb@gsa.gov.
