- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Service (FSS) Heartland Global Supply Center is in the process of preparing a formal solicitation for FSC 5120 ? Misc. Hand Tools. The solicitation will result in a fixed price, indefinite delivery, two-year requirements type contract for the period 04/01/2008 or DOA through 03/31/2010 with 3 1-yr options. This solicitation will contain requirements for 43 National Stock Numbers (NSN?s). Estimated quantities will appear in Schedule of Items. Pricing is not required in your response to this notice. The contract will include an Economic Price Adjustment clause. Delivery will be FOB destination within the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. The solicitation is scheduled to issue on or about October 10, 2007 and will be posted on Fed Biz Ops. Solicitation is being issued in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and part 15 ? Negotiated Procurement. It uses a Low Price, Technically Acceptable approach which specifies a minimum past performance acceptability rating and a maximum delivery period, leaving price as the determining factor after the offer is determined to be technically acceptable.
