- This is a sources sought notice, for written information only, to identify SBA certified 8(a) Small Businesses possessing the capabilities to provide support for the Post Award Management Program. The U.S. EPA's Office of Grants and Debarment's National Policy, Training and Compliance Division is conducting market research to determine potential small business sources for the Post Award Management Program, using FAR Part 19.8, Contracting with the Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program). The period of performance is a one (1) year base and four (4) one year option periods. Technical support tasks include: (1) conduct limited on-site administrative and financial reviews; (2) perform limited scope Desk Review Services using an EPA prescribed protocol; and (3) provide financial and administrative technical assistance evaluations. Detailed information on the requirement is provided in the draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) at: http:www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/admin_placement/0712774/index.htm The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541211. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COST PROPOSAL. Interested small business offerors may submit a brief capability statement, no more than five (5) pages, demonstrating how they plan to meet the above requirement. Standard brochures will not be considered. The capability statement should include the following: (1) Name of vendor; (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail); (3) Technical description of capabilities in meeting the requirement; (4) Technical support experience; (5) Business size and classification. Businesses shall submit an electronic copy of the requested information to Iris Redmon via mail or hand carry/courier/ or overnight carrier, see address below, no later than August 30, 2007, 2:00 p.m. ET. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SET-ASIDE FOR EITHER THE SBA CERTIFIED 8(a) PROGRAM OR THE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM.
