Bids are being solicited under solicitation number PR-DC-07-1234. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. GSA Schedule Bids Only: Sellers bidding on this opportunity MUST have the items requested on an existing GSA Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the seller's name or the seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. Information regarding GSA Schedules can be found at www.GSA.gov. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified sellers may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2007-08-02 15:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Landover, MD 20785 The Environmental Protection Agency requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, Hewlett Packard 2051 DN Laser Jet single function printer, 27 PPM , 2, EA; LI 002, Hewlett Packard 4700 DN 256 MB Color Laser Jet Duplex Printer 31/31 PPM with Powersave. Connectivity Standard: Bidirectional IEEE 1284C-compliant parallel port, HP Jetdirect Embedded Print Server, Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port (compatible with USB 2.0 specifications), 2 open EIO slots, foreign interface port for third-party solutions Standard Paper Handling Accessories: 100-sheet multipurpose tray, 500-sheet tray, duplexer for automatic two-sided printing, 500-sheet face-down output bin Other Requirements: Power cable, software drivers, getting started guide, , 2, EA; LI 003, I set of HP Color Laserjet Print Cartridges (1 each: black, cyan, magenta, yellow) , 1, SET; For this solicitation, Environmental Protection Agency intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Environmental Protection Agency is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. No partial shipments are authorized. The outside packing slip must indicate that the items are to be delivered to Jannie Latta, Office of Water, Mail Code 4201M, EPA East Building, 1301 Constitution Ave. N.W. Washington, DC 20004-2403. Vendors must have an active Central Contractor Registration and a Taxpayer Identification Number to receive this order. This purchase is tax exempt. The EPA intends to issue a single Purchase Order for all line items. Bidders must offer all items or they will not be considered. The Contracting Officer is Lin Pinskey. The Office of Water has an existing maintenance contract for HP Printers and the Network environment configuration is set up to support for HP printers. In order for Bidders to have their bid considered for award by the Contracting Officer, the bidder must provide as part of their bid the name of the manufacturer; part or item number; their GS Schedule number and price list and extended specifications of the exact type of printers being proposed for all line items. The Office of Acquisition Management will not make any exceptions. Bidders failing to provide this information will result in their bid being Non-Responsive and will not be considered for award.
