- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number M68909-07-Q-1064 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is unrestricted and all offeror?s are invited to provide a quote. The solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplemental Change Notice 20070327. NAICS Code 238160 applies. This solicitation is unrestricted. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and award the proposed purchase order for the following. Item 0001: a quantity of one (1) furnish and apply prote ctive roof coating, color red, Sarnafil PVC .060 mil or equivalent product on a 24?W x 60?L portable module building at Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), Camp Pendleton, CA. Warranty of five years. Roofing to include gutter and trim pieces used to cover portable modular buildings, including installation. All materials needed to complete the work and all clean up and removal of old materials must be included in the quote. Proposal evaluation criteria will include delivery schedule and price. The contract will be awarded on or about 13 August 2007 with delivery of the roof as proposed by the offeror. A site visit will be offered by coordinating through the Contract Specialist at 760-725-2478 before 6 Aug 2007 at 0800. Proposals shall be quoted FOB Destination to Commanding Officer, ATTN: Supply Officer, MCTSSA, Building 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The contractor shall extend to the G overnment full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally o ffered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government?s rights under the Inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government?s rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverable listed in the schedule of the contract. The following FAR and DFARS provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1; 52.212-3 [Alt 1] the vendor must complete and return with quotation if not registered in ORCA; 52.212-4; 52.212-5 with the following clauses under paragraph (b) incorporated by reference: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33; 252.211-7003; and 252-212-7001 with the following clauses under paragraph (b) incorporated by reference: 252.225-7036, 252.227-7 015 and 252.232-7003.
