Description
This amendment is issued to provide questions and answers: 1. Question: Listed as being requested are 6 ea. Specification: 250HP 4 Stroke Outboard Motor, 30 " Shaft, Color: Gray, Model #: F250AETU, but the Yamaha factory tells us the number of that engine is "F250TUR" Are we missing something here or could the number in the RFQ announcement be incorrect? Answer: Your number may be correct, I am going by what I was given, I need 3 standard rotating and 3 counter rotating 4 stroke engines 2. Question: Listed as being requested are 3 ea. Specification: 250HP 4 Stroke Outboard Motor, 30" Shaft , Counter Rotating, Color: Gray, Model #, FL250AETU. We are told again the proper number for this engine is "LF250TUR. Again are we missing something or does the Yamaha factory have the proper number of the unit you are looking for in the subject RFQ? Answer: Your number may be correct, I am going by what I was given, I need 3 standard rotating and 3 counter rotating 4 stroke engines 3. Question: 3. Since the due date for this quotation is 10 August 2007 and the delivery date is 01 September 2007, only three weeks is being allowed between bid date and delivery date. What is the proposed award date for this RFQ. All things must be in order for us to possibly meet or come close to meeting this short time between a possible award and the expected delivery date. Answer: 13 August 2007 4. Question: One is you have listed the Yamaha overseas model number F250AETU and FL250AETU. Would you be willing to accept the USA equivalent model engines F250TUR and LF250TUR engines? These are the same identical motors, however when they are bound for the USA they have a different model designator. Answer: As long as they are 4-Stroke engines 5. Question: Do you want dual keyswitch panels, the extension harnesses are for the main 10 pin engine harness (what length extensions do you need?) Do you want any throttle/shift cables? There are none listed on the solicitation. I would be more than happy to help figure out what all equipment you need. Just let me know if you are running dual engine setups, single setups, triple engines, or ect. Answer: yes to dual keyswitch, I need enough harness to cover 32? of boat, yes to throttle/shift cables. I am running dual engines 6. Question: On item (3) three "3/ea; ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS:" ..?? Could you expand a little on just what that means? Answer: all gauges to go with engines, hour meter, fuel guage 7. Question: Also, you want these engines delivered to Guam directly. What is the delivery address in Guam, or we can have these shipped to the Tracy Depot warehouse. Answer: The delivery/ship to address: NAVAL BASE GUAM, HARBOR SECURITY, BLDG. 3169, SANTA RITA, GUAM 96915.
