- THIS CONTRACT WAS AWARDED ON 23 JULY 2007 TO BETTER ENGINEERING MANUFACTURING LOCATED IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND. The requirement is for commercially available large aqueous parts washer (APW) to replace the existing units currently in use. The APW shall be required to perform support in the ground environment at Navy and Marine Corp air stations as well shipboard applications. The APW shall be used at the I-level in both the 500 & 900 divisions (Navy) and the MALS (Marines) to clean various aircraft and engine components, including aircraft wheels.
