- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office is soliciting for offers for the Ford Creek Road Relocation Project. The project consists of furnishing labor and equipment to excavate a low water crossing, haul material to elevate a section of existing road, and to realign and/or build 16 foot wide road at staked locations, relocate a cattle guard and gate, provide and install concrete bases, relocate aspen trees, excavate and set two wire encased gabion basket sets at staked locations, remove and dispose of one culvert. The project also includes preparation of the surface of the old road by ripping 24 inches deep with a dozer, and covering disturbed areas with government furnished seed and mulch materials. The anticipated performance period for the contract is 244 days, including 10 inclement weather days. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 13, 2007. A prebid site tour is offered August 22, 2007 at 1 pm. Meet at the BLM, Saguache Field Office, 46525 Highway 114, SAguache, Colorado. Offers will be accepted via fax at (970)244-3130 or mail to BLM, 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, CO, 81506. Offers must be received no later than close of business September 10, 2007. This is a total small business set aside estimated below $100,000.00.
