- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is soliciting prospective contractors for to provide the Environmental Division of the 94th RRC the technical assistance required to help reduce the amount of waste being generated and to documen t the success of that effort. Inclusive will be assisting in documenting the various waste streams, monitoring the quantities of hazardous materials being purchased and used within the region and to identify purchasing alternatives and management options which will ultimately represent an overall reduction of those wastes. Provide advice and guidance to the Environmental Division on all aspects of proper identification and management of these materials to include recommendations on short and long term mod ification of policies and procedures to support their environmental mission Inclusive will be researching and developing alternative projects to implement which will result in pay back to the Army for waste minimization. The NAICS code for this Procurem ent is 541620, with a Size Standard of $6 million. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The estimated issue date for this procurement is on or about 14 August 2007. Prospective contractors and subc ontractors are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet to receive the solicitation.
