- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2007-0426. Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on F3V3N7150A001. This procurement is being issued as 100 % SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The NAICS code is 238210 Size Standard, $ 13.0 MIL, Line Item 0001 ? To install and purchase Multi-media/Sound System at Sheppard's Club in accordance with Statement of Work. A site visit is scheduled for 07 August 2007 at 1000. Bidders/offerors should be at the Sheppard AFB Entry Control Center with the following documents: Driver?s License, Vehicle Registration, and Proof of Insurance. From there they will be escorted to view the work site and present pertinent questions. Bidders/offerors are encouraged to visit the site and take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve bidders/offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or execution of the contract, unless included in the invitation for bids/request for proposals, the specification, or related documents. The award will be based on Best Value to the government, based off price, delivery/installation time, and specifications of the equipment used.
