ATTENTION ALL PROSPECTED OFFERORS THE EMAIL ADDRESS FOR COLUNTEYA HAS CHANGED. PLEASE SEND ALL CRRESPONDENTS TO COLUNTEYA.WEEMS@FAA.GOV ROOF REPLACEMENT, AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (ARTCC), MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The FAA is seeking qualified small business to submit offers for replacement of roof at the Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Memphis, Tennessee. The work includes, but is not limited to replace designated roof sections for approximately 8000 SF of roof at Memphis Air Route Traffic Control Center. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238160, Roofing Contractors and to be eligible to submit an offer under this Request for offers, the contractor must have annual average receipts for the preceding 3 fiscal years not to exceed $13 million. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $150,000 and $350,000. All work must be coordinated in order to allow continued operations in the facility. The total contract duration for completion of all work shall be 90 calendar days. Prospective offerors are strongly recommended to perform a site visit to assess the actual conditions before submitting an offer. Site visits can be arranged by contacting Louri Call at 901-368-8278 or mailto:louri.call@faa.gov. The issuance date for the Request for Offers is July 30, 2007 and offers are due by August 27, 2007. All interested sources should first attempt to download the attached document(s) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for the solicitation, specifications, and drawings must be made in writing via to Colunteya Weems at fax number 404-305-5774 or email prior to August 27, 2007. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
