- AMENDMENT NO. 1 IS ISSUED TO EXTEND THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE FROM AUGUST 2, 2007 UNTIL AUGUST 16, 2007, BY 3:30 P.M. CST. ORIGINAL PRE-SOLICITATION: DESC: NAICS 238290 - The General Services Administration is soliciting proposals for Elevator Modernization for the Federal Building, Gallup, NM, Solicitation GS-07P-07-UF-C-0023, Project Number RNM97012. The point of contact is Vicki Woodard, Contracting Officer, 7PMO, 817.978.3722. The purpose of the project is to modernize two (2) existing traction passenger elevators. Work includes, but is not limited to replacing the cab, controls, machines, hoist-way doors and wrap entrances, hoist cables, and safety equipment. The estimated cost range is between $350,000 and $500,000. The solicitation issue date will be on or about June 28, 2007. The proposal due date will be on or about August 2, 2007. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held on or about July 11, 2007. We consider attendance at this conference vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost effective proposal and to understanding the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omissions and miscalculations in offers. It is again emphasized that is most advantageous for each offeror to have qualified representation at the Pre-Proposal Conference. Specifications will be available for downloading from the Internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. This solicitation and other documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in a PDF format and can be accessed using a WWW browser.
