Description

This is a notice of the Government's intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Camtronics Medical Systems, LTD, to provide software and hardware maintenance, including software upgrades for the government-owned Vericis Image System and Physiolo g Hemodynamic System at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The contract period will be from 01 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, followed by four twelve month option periods. As the owner of the proprietary software, Camtronics is the only source capable of providing support as well as software updates for the Vericis and Physiolog systems. A firm fixed price contract will be issued on or about 01 September 2007, subject to the availability of FY 08 funds. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis must contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) nor a request for competition.
