- Description
- Provide engineering services to complete the design of a project to replace 8 air handlers, associated equipment and controls, and a dedicated air-cooled chiller for the surgical suite in Buiding 1, VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Design considerations may include, but not necessarily be limited to: heating, ventilation and airconditioning; controls shall be designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Energy Management System; plumbing; integrate with existing Fire Protection System; continued Medical Center operation during construction. Evaluation consideration will be as follows: (1) specialized experience of the firm on similar contracts; (2) past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) geographic location of facilities of the working office; (4) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project. Area of consideration is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Firms desiring consideration should submit an SF330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications o or before August 27, 2007. Award is subject to availability of funds. This is not a request for proposals.
