- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the Repair of: 1) 3010-99-735-6322 Vulkan Flexible Coupling American Vulkan Corporation part number: EZS-EZ-195-1500 Quantity 2 each Repair shall be in accordance overhaul description marked Exhibit I. Complete Request for Quotation with all pertinent information will be available on this website no later than 07/30/07. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS or SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. No substitute or after-market parts are authorized, only American Vulkan Corporation equipment is acceptable. In addition, all work shall be performed by an authorized American Vulkan Corporation repair facility. F.O.B. Destination delivery, on or before 12/23/07 to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Building 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. It is the Government's belief that only American Vulkan Corporation and/or their authorized dealers/ distributors/ repair facilities can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 5 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than American Vulkan Corporation parts/services are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts/services (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts/services have been satisfactorily manufactured or performed for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. In addition, all work must be done by an authorized American Vulkan Corporation repair facility. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. See numbered note 1
