- Description
- Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Protective Service (FPS), has a requirement for all personnel, services and supervision necessary to staff and operate the Philadelphia MegaCenter located in Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia Mega Center supports the Federal Protective Service's mission through alarm monitoring in buildings, emergency dispatch, radio and telephone communications, offense/incident recording, transcription services, data entry, security systems technical services, and records management activities. The work identified is to be provided by means of an Indefinite /Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract. Source selection procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 15. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforming to the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be the most advantageous to the Government resulting in the best value. The period of performance for this requirement is one Base period (12 months) and four Option periods. The total contract term including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed 60 months. The anticipated start date is July 14, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, the size standard is $11.5 million. The proposed procurement listed herein is 100% set-aside for Small Business contractors. The RFP will be available in electronic format only (Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) and will be posted on the FedTeds website at https://www.fedteds.gov on or about February 26, 2007. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR CHANGES. All prospective contractors are required in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Failure to register in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
