Description

N62306-07-Q-6051 The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to BAE Systems National Security Solutions, Reston VA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is to purchase 2 each SOCET GXP Unclassified IA Bundles and Upgrade Entitlement for the bundles. The software is to be used on portable IT System and work with UAV video and still imagery on-scene in remote communication deprived areas co-located with operational forces. This software will interface with the previously procured JAM software. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price. NAICS Code 511210 and Business Size of $23.0M apply. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
