- SUBJECT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION DESC: It is the Government's intent to award a modification to Capitol IT Solutions, 13907 Carlson Farm Drive, Germantown, MD 20874, as SDVOSB, for the purchase of services, support, on/site local help desk and technical support, network operations, and other infrastructure support, maintenance, and support to the TATRC field office located in Fort Detrick, MD. This is a modification to extend the Period of Performance 1 month for the Service of 2 System En gineers that are fully qualified personnel with experience to provide the fully qualified personnel with experience to provide full range of help desk network operations and orther (technical research, development, testing and evaluation, as directed). An y delay to get a new contractor on board and equipment lead will have an adverse impact on Operations at TATRC East Cost Office. In essence, TATRC staff members will have to stop work until new servers could be ordered. This modification is to extend the period of performance to allow for the new contract to be placed for the same duties. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No soliciation document is avaiable and telephone request will not be honored. NO Contract will b e awarded on basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any reponse to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the service mod ification will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Governmetn not to compete this proposed modification based on this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.
