- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire System Acquisition and Broadcast Support Services for the Naval Media Center, Anacostia Annex. The contractor will be required to provide Acquisition, Engineering, Broadcasting, Information Technology, Installation and Operational Support Services in order to assist in delivering news and related information via print, broadcast or the Internet to the Navy community worldwide and onboard Navy ships. The contractor will be required to perform Program Logistics and Supply Management, Systems Engineering and Acquisition Support, Shipboard System Integration, Information Transfer and Communications, Technical and Operations Support, and Broadcast System Support. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. This acquisition will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract with a base period of performance of one year commencing on or about 13 Sep 07. The solicitation will also include four one-year option provisions. The RFP will evaluate the offerors past performance and price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330; size standard $4.5M. This RFP will be made available electronically upon its release at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website at www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies, faxed copies, or e-mail copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments thereto. This solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) program. The Government will not pay for information received.
