Description

This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside, under North American Industry Classification System code 561621, Alarm System Monitoring services. The Standard Industry Classification code is 7382, and the Federal Supply Class is S211. This requirement will be a firm-fixed price type contract. The period of performance is anticipated for a base year, 1 Oct 2007 through 30 Sep 2008, plus four one-year options. The contractor shall provide personnel, management, and any other items necessary to perform alarm monitoring station (AMS) functions for the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) located at building 23020, Fort Hood, Texas 76544. The mission of personnel performing alarm monitoring duties at the AMS is to provide constant monitoring 24 hours per day, seven days a week, of the 600 plus alarmed zones on the Fort Hood military installation. Contractor personnel shall take immediate and appropriate action, to keep designated personnel informed as required of any alarm zone status change s requiring a police or security force response to assess the alarmed event, and keep an accurate and detailed log of any event, or other information pertinent to the overall AMS operation. Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection Systems II, alarm monit oring equipment is currently installed. This effort requires the skills of labor category 27004 - Alarm Monitor identified on Wage Determination 2005-2524 (Rev 3). The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP), W91151-07-R-0020 on or ab out 8 Aug 07 with a tentative closing date of 23 Aug 07. The RFP will be available for download at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, and telephone requests wil l not be honored. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http;//www.ccr.gov.
