- Description
- This project consists of providing labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove steam heaters, a packaged air conditioner with steam coil and associated ductwork and the installation of a heat pump and new steam heaters. The extent of the work may include, but is not limited to the following: asbestos abatement on pipe and pipe fittings, lead abatement, ceiling removal and replacement, temporary lighting relocation for duct work removal and replacement, electrical demolition, HVAC demolition, provide concrete slab for new air cooled heat pump, provide new air cooled heat pump, provide all steel and miscellaneous metal fabrications, provide new electrical power and controls as shown, provide new steam heaters, provide new steam and return piping, provide connections to existing piping systems, pressure testing of piping, operation checkout test of new system. All work will be performed at the Motor Pool, Facility 1400, at Arnold Air Force Base Tennessee. Performance period is 120 days following Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 6 August 2007. Bid opening date will be on or about 6 September 2007. Construction Magnitude: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
