- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Sub Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F3H3A27190A002 is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 811121. 55 CONS intends to issue a firm fixed priced purchase order for the following service: Prepare and paint two (2) air craft de-icer vehicles (includes labor, materials, parts, hazardous waste, and paint materials). Wash complete-steam clean; remove all decals-glue residue; wash out engine skid area; wash out pump skid area; clean-up rustarea on de-icer cab; misc parts for refinish prep access; sand and prep complete-cab/holding tank/body/wheels/battery box/boom section/de-icer cab/control areas-etc.; caulk and seal seams; refinish complete-OD GREEN; refinish wheels-OD GREEN; spray on "NON-SKID" walk paths; refinish fuel tanks-BLACK; "REFLEX" coating to frt and rear bumpers; de-icer cab floor; apply nessary information and safety decals All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database by Friday, 27 July 2007, at 4:00 pm (cst) will make a bidder ineligible for award. Also, the contractor must have the NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration.
