- Request for proposals (RFP) for the operation of the New Orleans Job Corps Center, located in New Orleans, Louisiana will be available approximately August 3, 2007 on the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website: http//www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus incentive fee for a 2-year base period of April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2010 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 225 non-residential students. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at the New Orleans Job Corps Center, 8825 Airline Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70118. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must sign in with Security and will be directed to the conference site. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of Oral Presentation and written submissions as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 12:00 p.m. local time Tuesday, October 2, 2008 to the Dallas Regional Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
