- Site Location: Keller Estates Mobile Park Greensburg KS Number of Residences: 280 (expected by 8/10/07) Max. Capacity 337 Number of pads for containers: 11 pads which are 20 feet by 8 feet with 2 sections on each pad for dumpsters measuring 6 feet by 6 feet. See Pad drawing attached Note this is an as built condition and will not dictate the number or size of containers/dumpsters required. REQUIREMENTS: DHS/FEMA requires residential trash collection/sanitation services at the site noted above. All containers for holding trash must comply with Federal, State and Local environmental regulations, all containment devices will be provided by the successful offeror. Containers must be of a type that would preclude dispersal of trash between collections. Collection must be accomplished in such a manner that would minimize to preclude disbursement of trash. In addition fifty percent (50%) of the containers/dumpsters must meet Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards and be ADA compliant for access by handicapped individuals. Eligibility to be awarded this contract is dependent on the offeror?s authority to perform these services within the geographical area in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, regulations and requirements. For bid proposal purposes the following assumption shall be included: 1. Each of the residences (mobile homes) will generate one half cubic yard of residential waste weekly. 2. Bidders shall assume additional pick ups to accommodate surges in the amount of trash during move in and move out times. For this purpose bidders will submit pricing for emptying containers an additional time on a per container price. 3. Site map is available via FAX or e-mail contact Richard Ydoyaga 316 524 1576 4. Weekly or monthly price for service. b. Number of containers/dumpsters required and their location requirements at the Keller Estates Mobile Park noted in location above. c. Costs for additional pick ups for surges in amounts of trash generated (move in and move out), per container per pick up. Indicate if there is a minimum charge regardless of the number of containers to be emptied. d. Indicate your mode of trash containment method, type of pick up and removal and numbers of removals required per week. e. Indicate the number of containers you propose to provide, the capacity, and proposed locations within Keller Estates Mobile Park. f. All containers provided by the successful offeror are the property of the offeror and will not convey to the Federal Government. g. All trash removed must be disposed of at an approved dump site in accordance with the materials removed and all applicable laws and regulations. h. It should be noted that there will be fluctuations in the number of residences occupied over the 12 to 18 month period of the life cycle of Keller Estates Mobile Park. As the time line reaches the termination period for the residences, numbers of residence will diminish and the Government will adjust the requirements to fit the needs. i. The Government reserves the right to cancel contract at any time the need is not longer necessary
