Description: THIS AMENDMENT ELIMINATES THE PORTION OF EACH REQUIREMENT a. thru j. THAT STIPULATED "CURRENT ASSIGNED PHONE NUMBERS FOR QUALCOMM GSP-1600 PORTABLE SATELLITE PHONES SHALL REMAIN THE SAME" OR "CURRENT ASSIGNED PHONE NUMBERS FOR THRANE AND THRANE PORTABLE SATELLITE PHONES SHALL REMAIN THE SAME". THIS CHANGE IS MADE TO FURTHER ENCOURAGE COMPETITION IN THIS ACQUISITION. HOWEVER, SATELLITE PHONE NUMBERS THAT ARE ESTABLISHED BY THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR AT THE BEGINNING OF THE BASE PERIOD FOR THE QUALCOMM GSP-1600 AND THRANE AND THRANE PORTABLE SATELLITE PHONES SHALL REMAIN THE SAME FOR EACH OPTION YEAR PERIOD THEREAFTER.
