- Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. Principle components of work are to install a Western furnished 34.5kV breaker, vertical switchboards and a control cable termination cabinet. Install associated equipment and a new concrete ramp and breaker foundation. Complete all work within 145 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about June 21, 2007. Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The closing date is on or about July 24, 2007. This acquisition is 100% Set-aside for Small Business. National American Industry Classification Code is 237130 and the applicable size standard is $31 million. The solicitation will be posted electronically at this web site. The specifications and drawings will be issued hard copy. Standard Specifications will be issued on CD-ROM. Requests for specifications and drawings must be submitted in writing by faxing 970.461.7377 or by email (gutierre@wapa.gov). Information hours are from 7:00am (MT) to 3:00pm (MT), Monday through Friday.
