- Description: Closing date for receipt of proposals is extended from 19 July 2007 to 23 July 2007 at 2:00 p.m. CDT . United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Central Region Acquisition Division, (CRAD) intends to solicit proposals for the acquisition of services to overhaul the Hartzell HC-B3TN-3DY propellers located at NOAA Aircraft Operations Center, MacDill AFB. FL. The propellers shall be overhauled to zero time in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. The contractor shall complete repairs typically associated with the overhaul, replace slip-ring assemblies; deice boots and dynamic balancing. Period of Performance: The period of performance is 5 years and task orders will be issued for the work and services. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. Central Region Acquisition Division, requires that all Contractors doing business with this office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made to a company not registered in CCR. For additional information to register in CCR, please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register, all firms must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
