- Wapiti Creek Culvert Replacement Project Synopsis The Wapiti Creek Culvert Replacement Project package will be available for viewing and printing in approximately 15 days. The work consists of the replacement of 2 side by side culverts with a single bottomless multi-plate arch near Grandjean, Idaho. Specific work includes: removal and disposal of the existing culverts, installation of a new arch set on precast concrete footings, placement of stream simulation rock inside the structure, stream diversion, furnishing and placement of aggregate surfacing, and site rehabilitation work. The project is located on the Lowman Ranger District, Boise National Forest, in Boise County, Idaho. The work is on National Forest System Road 525. Take Hwy 21 from Boise to approximately milepost 93.7, take a right on Road 524 toward Grandjean, follow for about 4.6 miles, take a right on Road 525, cross the bridge over the South Fork of the Payette River and follow for about 0.2 miles to the culvert site. No ground disturbing construction work will be permitted until the 2008 season. Estimated start date: July 15, 2008. Estimated Price Range is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 NAICS Code: 237310, Size Standard: 31.0 Million. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
