- Description
- It is the government intent to issue a competitive Request for Proposal for a construction project. This notice is to see if sufficient interest exists for set aside/competition to exist for service disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSBs). The government's estimate is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A. Project: Flagstaff SW Forestry Complex Parking Lot Repair B. The Project involves the repairing the three parking lots located in Flagstaff, Arizona. Two parking lots are located at 2500 South Pine Knoll and the third is located off of Lone Tree Road. The work consists of cutting and patching areas of asphalt that have large cracks or have settled more than one inch. The work also involves installation of new curbs, concrete pads, and concrete drainage pan, as well as removal of some curbing. After the patching work is completed and the concrete work is completed, the parking lots are to be slurry sealed. The last part of the project is to strip the parking lots. C. The Project also involves the patching and repair work of approximately 1,000 feet of road into the greenhouse complex. The work consists of cutting and patching areas of asphalt that have large cracks or have settled more than one inch. After the patching work is completed, the road is to be slurry sealed. D. The Project also involves the construction of approximately 80 feet of segmented retaining wall approximately 2 feet high. A draft copy of the specifications will be uploaded to the FedBizOpps relative to this sources sought notice. The specifications or scope of work or statement of work or description, however listed in the RFP, shall have precedence over this draft specification uploaded under this sources sought notice. Any service disabled veteran owned small business interested should provide the below information to Richard F. Harris, at the address noted above. This information will be used to determine if sufficient interest exists to set aside this procurement for SDVOSBs/competitively compete it amongst SDVOSBs.
